BSO-NA urges International community to help Balochistan earthquake victims

Washington DC: September 27, 2013. (PCP) Baloch Society of North America (BSO-NA) strongly condemn Pakistan's discriminative anti-Baloch attitude and role towards the Baloch victims of devastating powerful earthquake which killed more 3000, including women and children and injuring thousands others with more than sixty thousands homes flattened. Pakistan have not only refused to help the victims of this natural disaster but is refusing the International help to reach to the earthquake victims who are in desperate need of food, water, medicine and shelter. On the top of that, to shamefully hide their anti-Baloch acts and divert the attention of international community, Pakistan's media is spreading lies that Baloch insurgents have fired upon the relief helicopters. This is a Big Fat lie. No one has fired upon on any relief helicopter nor Pakistan have sent any such relief helicopter to Baloch victims. BSO-NA consider this discriminative anti-Baloch attitude a crime against humanity and ask the International community to step in and help the Baloch victim of this natural disaster without any further delay. "When the same kind of disaster hit Pakistani occupied Kashmir and Pashtun areas of Ziarat and Chaman, Pakistan not only allowed the international community to step in to help but also organized donors conferences aggressively for the victims but when it comes to the Baloch people Pakistan is not only refusing to help them but also creating obstacles and excuses to prevent Baloch victims from getting help", said Dr. Baloch. Baloch Society of North America calls upon the UN and all international relief organizations to send help the victims of this natural disaster immediately without any further delay.
