Convener World Minorities Alliance and Former Federal Minister Mr. J Salik has expressed his immense anger on paying late to sanitary workers of Capital Development Authority Islamabad. He said that the depressed sanitary workers, who according to Islam have adopted half Faith as their profession, get up very early in the morning when every one is sleeping and come out from their houses without eating something to serve the nation and country. They do not bother their health but do all sort of works to maintain cleanliness in the country and they are getting no medical allowance or any sort of insurance, they will get nothing even if they will be injured during their duties, it’s the height of ignorance that they people got their own salaries such a late in the last week of the month, he said. He said that its very shameful that Chairman CDA wore such an expensive cloths on one side and on the other hand its hard to manage bread and butter for sanitary workers. He said that if such discrimination with poor will be practiced how we can save our country from earth quakes and storms. He said that what sort of nation (Zinda Qaum) we are as our national flag is being painted on garbage trucks, we ignored Iqbal Day and no function was held on such an important day and even our Prime Minister was not present in the country during very critical days of Muharam ul Haram. He said that bureaucracy and politicians needs to change their attitudes to run the country in smooth way.
