Islamabad: The United Christian Organization (UCO) is a registered NGO working in Islamabad/ Rawalpindi and its adjoining rural area. It is non-political and non-profit organization working for the well-being and uplift of the poor and destitute segments of the society. The main objective of UCO is to serves the humanity irrespective of discrimination of any kind; religion, sect, creed and color. Most of the activities of UCO are managed with the help of its members through generous contributions and their active participation. In order to serve the community more effectively the UCO has started a Health project named UNITED HEALING HOME (UHH) a Mother Child Health care center welfare Hospital in Rural area of Rawalpindi, Chak Jalaldin Dhokh Sayedian since January 2004 with following facilities. MBBS Lady Doctor with supporting staff (Staff Nurse, Dispenser, Lab Tech.) Labor Room, with all kind of Laboratory tests and Pharmacy. This has been possible through the funding contribution of European Union through Trust for Voluntary Organizations and hard work of its members. A large number of inhabitants of the area are benefiting from this facility and we feel that in order to cope with the need of the area we have to extend and continue this facility. The funding from TVO was only for one year from 1st January 2004 to 31st December 2004 one year only that is over now. UCO have planned to expand its activities and to improve/ upgrade this facility and the community over there is now in-dire need. UCO is not in better position financially to provide these facilities without your assistance. The PCP appeals to funding agencies to support noble cause of UCO
