Karachi: March 5, 2014. (PCP) The Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC approved nomination of Professor Arif Pervez Naqeeb as new member of Central Executive Council of PCC in a meeting here today;
The seat of Central Executive Council of PCC was vacant after ill health of Mr. Francis Baloch from over a year which was filled with nomination of Professor Naqeeb.
The Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC is highly power constitutional committee which is responsible for steering up organizational and policy issues.
Professor Arif Pervez Naqeeb is prominent Christian poet and writer who graduated in Urdu Adab and mastered in ancient history from Karachi University.
Professor Naqeeb was an active member of Pakistan Christian Congress when he was student and took part in PCC processions and conferences in Karachi.
It was also decided by Central Executive Council of PCC that before national general convention of PCC in 2014, the number of seats of CEC will be increased from 7 to 11 that representation may be added from Punjab PCC, KPK PCC and Balochistan PCC.
Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress has congratulated Professor Arif Pervez Naqeeb on his nomination as Member of Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress.
Mr. Raymond Wallace Durrani, President of Canadian Chapter of PCC, Mr. Pervez Iqbal, President of Holland Chapter of PCC, Mr. Morris Sadiq, Secretary General of Pakistan Christian Congress, Mr. Shahzad Pervez Kanwal, Additional Secretary General of Pakistan Christian Congress have congratulated Professor Arif Naqeeb on his nomination of CEC Member.
