WVIP not against Pakistani Christian Asylum seekers in Thailand

Image

We, World Vision in Progress (WVIP), would like to inform you that there is some misunderstanding going on in Bangkok, Thailand that we are against the Pakistani Christian Asylum Seekers and we are collecting their data to resend them back to Pakistan. This is ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT. WVIP is supporting and will stand by our Pakistani Christian brothers who are in Bangkok, Colombo and Malaysia. We know that Pakistani Christians are facing a lot of problems in Pakistan and we will never go against our brothers on any condition no matter whatever happens. We will help our community and soon we will file a petition in Geneva –against the Discrimination and deliberate delay in the determination of the Pakistani Christian's cases. We have observed that UNHCR is treating Pakistani Christians as step children and they are not showing any interest in Pakistani Christians. In this situation we will surely support our Pakistani brothers in Thailand who are homeless and facing miserable conditions. We will help them in their resettlement and would try our best to relieve them from their miseries. In Him we Trust World Vision in Progress May 31, 2014; Bangkok
