Karachi: October 15, 2014. (PCP) The Central Secretariat of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC confirmed here today that PCC Chief Dr. Nazir S Bhatti has submitted clemency appeal to Prime Minister of Netherland against arrest of a Pakistani Christian named Kamran Simon Saif on immigration charges for deportation.
Mr. Kamran Simon Saif entered in Holland on valid travelling documents and applied for asylum in 2010. His life was under constant threat by Islamic extremists in Pakistan and administration has his arrest warrants on charges of blasphemy.
In an appeal to Prime Minster of Holland, Dutch immigration Minister and administration of Dutch Immigration and Neutralization, Dr. Nazir Bhatti have submitted that life and property of Christian is not safe in Islamic Republic of Pakistan and rising violence against them on pretext to blasphemy is very serious threat.
Dr. Nazir Bhatti has informed Prime Minister of Netherland that if Kamran Simon Saif is deported he will be arrested on Pakistani airport and may be killed in jail like many blasphemy victims have been attacked and killed in jails.
PCC Chief has also appealed to Human Right Commissioner of EU to take note of arrest of Kamran Simon Saif and other Pakistani Christians who are facing hardship in process of their asylum cases in EU countries.
