Attack on Bus and Educationists condemned

Liverpool: May 14, 2015. (PCP) Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, Former Member Provincial Assembly Sindh condemned the attack on a Bus where 43 people were killed and 13 others wounded in attack on bus of Ismaili Community in Karachi. He said this attack would only create anarchy and bring a bad name to the country. They said the present government had also failed to curb terrorist activities in the country. Mr. Saleem Khursheed Khokhar Former MPA Sindh regretted the government and the local administration had made no adequate security arrangements to protect the lives. He demanded a high-level inquiry into the killings and arrest of the murders of Jundullah Group who have been targeting minorities of Pakistan, tourists and armed forces. On the news of leaving Pakistan by Dr. Bernadette Dean, Senior Educationist and member of the government-appointed advisory committee for curriculum and textbooks reforms, Director of VM Institute for Education and former principal of St Joseph’s College for Women and Kinnaird College, Mr. Khokhar said it is great sorrow that the educationist are leaving Pakistan due to threats and fears. He referred the recent killings of educationist of University of Karachi and said the fanatics / extremists are trying to sabotage education in Pakistan and create anarchy by targeting educationist and minorities in Pakistan. They want to stop the progress and development of the country and create fear in people Pakistan. He said the Government should take serious steps on urgent basis otherwise the education system of Pakistan will further collapsed.
