Toronto: May 21, 2015. (PCP) Canadian Christian Association (CCA), has helped the victims of bombings at two churches in Lahore, Pakistan, by the terrorist. During the initial stage, CCA distributed boxes of groceries to the families of the victims with the help of Dr. Jamil Nasir, and his team.
In the subsequent stage, CCA recognized and honored the Heroes, who gave their lives, by preventing the suicide bombers from entering inside the churches, where thousands of worshipers were attending. By doing this, they saved hundreds of people from being killed or getting injured. CCA with the help from its current and past executive members, and few friends, arranged a service at the Church of Pentecost in Lahore, under the leadership of Dr. Jamil Nasir to honors the martyrs. Tribute was given to the below martyrs, and a Muslim Punjab Police office, by Senator Kamran Michael, Minister of Port and Shipping, and Member of Provincial Parliament, MPA Shahzad Munshi.

• Rashid Minhas – Muslim Police Officer
CCA also distributed 100,000 rupees to the family of Akash Bahir, and 50,000 Rupees each to the families of others. In total, CCA distributed 300,000 rupees to all the families.
As in previous projects like Shantinagar, Gojra, flood victims, Peshawar church bomb blast, and Joseph colony in Pakistan, CCA is very grateful to its members for their generous donations, and volunteer work; community response is always overwhelming, and CCA feels honored by it.
