Lahore: June 23, 2015. (PCP) The Lahore High Court Lahore released nine persons on bail who were allegedly involved in damaged property in Protest of Youhanabad twin Churches blasts. Advocate Tahir Bashir from CLAAS appeared before the Divisional Bench (DB) of Justice Mr. Anwar Ul Haq and Mr. Justice Shahbaz Ali Razvi honorable Judge Lahore High Court Lahore and contended that police falsely implicated them in the case, while Mr. Joseph Francis, National Director of CLAAS was also there. DB granted bail to nine persons and directed them to furnish 200,000 as surety bond. Namely Riaz Masih, Nazir Masih, Tariq Masih, Arshad Masih, Asif Masih, Ishfaq Masih sons of Javed Masih and Tariq Masih, Namee Bhatti sons of Naseem Hayat, and Yousaf Masih s/o Mashooq Masih.
CLAAS has applied bails for ten persons, nine bails are granted but only Imran Latif bail was rejected because CDA machine which was fixed on metro bus was recovered from him according to police. CLAAS will appear in Supreme Court for Imran Latif bail.
