Business Community faces life threats and influential occupied Petrol pump property

LARKANA: July 4, 2015. (Nazir Siyal) Former District Shikarpur Nazim Arif Khan Mahar, the brother of ex-opposition leader in Sindh assembly MPA Sheheryar Mahar alleged for occupation on Petrol pump and its millions of property. Trader Abdul Ghafoor Brohi along with accomplices has alleged for occupation on his valuable property petrol pump and issued life threats as well kidnapping if not handed over the pump. The owner of the Petrol Pump at Lakhi Ghulam Shah Sukkur road, told journalists during his press conference that his petrol pump (Lucky Filling Station) was established on 1997 at Lakhi Ghulam Shah Tehsil of District Shikarpur but for some time, he was regularly received threats to withdraw the property otherwise he will be kidnapped and killed he told. The influential had eye on his property and he was powerful enough and several times forced him to sell out Petrol Pump on his refusal, he apprised the matter to former District Nazim Shikarpur, Ghous Bux Mahar father of Arif Khan Mahar about the issue but no action was taken in this regard. Abdul Ghafoor Brohi alleged that three days back Arif Khan Mahar himself accompanying by scores of armed dacoits barged into the pump and demolished the portion of boundary wall and threatened the workers and other staff of petrol pump. He alleged that it was attempt to occupy the property and deployed their armed men and driven out to owners and workers from Petrol pump and, he expressed his determination that he would never bow down and not sell out his property at any cost, he said. He told that he has danger to his life and workers from influential person. He appealed to Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan, DG Rangers, IG Sindh and other high ups to take notice of matter, provide the protection of his life and save his property from occupation and provide justice.
