People of Chandio community protesting for recovery of stolen valuables

LARKANA: July 29, 2015. (Nazir Siyal) Crime rate rise in Larkana city, the residents staged protest for recovery of stolen valuables here in front of Larkana Press Club on Wednesday. The protesting men carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans demanding Police to register FIR of incident and recovery of looted valuables. City area Murad Wahan Muhalla residents among Muhammad Idrees Chandio told media that July 20th, 2015, he went Karachi with his family, when they returned on 25 July, 2015, they found house was broken, unlocked doors and valuables among Gold, Laptops, Motor and others worth of Rs. 0.3 million were stolen by unidentified thieves. He said such kinds of practices are common in every Muhalla and areas but never decrease such crime rate. He told they approached Dari Police Station for registration of case but despite of various visits to SHO Dari Muhammad Bux Brohi at crime scene, he did not register the case and made only verbal assurance for recovery of stolen valuables. On the occasion, they demanded of Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal and other high ups to take notice of matter and register the case of incident, he appealed to arrest the involved accused and provide the justice. Nadeem Chandio, Hashmat Chandio, Hamid Chandio, Himat Ali Chandio and others participated in protest.
