Manchester: August 6, 2015. (By Adan Farhaj)Pakistan Minorities Alliance (UK) will hold an event on 11th August Minorities Day with the collaboration of PMRO at St. Helda's Church post code M16 0JE Stretford Manchester at 4:00 pm. Our Moto is to highlight the speech of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah to Constituent Assembly on August 11, 1947, had clearly laid down the outlines of the type of state he visualized Pakistan to become. “You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or any other places of worship in this state of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed – that has nothing to do with the business of the state.” The speech clearly indicated that Pakistan was to be a pluralist society. PMA believe that we have equal rights according to the founders’ speech, but religious extremist are trying to divide citizens of the country. PMA is committed to promote peace and harmony in the country.
