New Delhi: August 7, 2015. (PCP) US imperialist first atom bomb was dropped on 6th August, 1945 at 8.10 a.m. turning hundreds of thousands innocent Japanese into ashes in seconds. Not ashamed of this human disaster, the US dropped second atom bomb on Nagasaki two days later i.e. on 9th August thus demonstrating utter defiance of nature and Geneva Agreement putting the entire humanity in shame. Japan had to surrender but the humanity was awakened forever. Prof.Bhim Singh visited Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1972 while travelling on motorcycle around the world on peace mission. He wrote several hundred words on this world greatest tragedy and catastrophe. He also met the patients in special nursing homes suffering of burns caused by the heat of nuclear bombs. His book, ‘Around the World on Motorcycle’ has carried detailed story in this regard. Prof.Bhim Singh continued visiting Hiroshima to join thousands of people on Hiroshima Day in Hiroshima in memory of those who were killed/burnt by atom bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Prof.Bhim Singh also visited Hiroshima on 6th August, 2011 and joined fast for peace in the Peace Park built in memory of the martyrs of Hiroshima in 1945. The Panthers Party organized a prayer in the memory of those who were killed in Hiroshima (6th August) & in Nagasaki (9th August, 1945). The Panthers Party renewed their pledge to continue fighting for world peace, harmony, human dignity and complete disarmament from every platform available to the Panthers commandos.
