Christian student punished to use school toilets by Muslim teacher in Pakistan

Karachi: November 7, 2015. (PCP) In a press note issued here today by Central Secretariat of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC hare concern have been expressed on rising hate crimes against Christians in Pakistan and urged government of Pakistan to promote interfaith harmony in true spirit to end hate and violence against Christians due to their faith. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have strongly condemned incident of locking Christian student in toilets for three hours that he dared to use toilet which is used by Muslim students. According to local media reports of Sumundri, in Punjab province of Pakistan, the Headmistress of Government Girls Primary School Chack number 228 GB, Zahida Rana tortured and locked a Christian Student Sara Bibi in washroom for three hours to punish her on using same washroom which is used by Muslim girls. Headmistress Zahida Rana when beating Christian student Sara Bibi yelled “You are Christian an infidel and how you dared to use washroom which Muslim girls use” Christian student Sara Bibi kept crying and begging for freedom for three hours when she was locked in washroom but she was not freed until school times ended. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said “Christian cannot eat in Muslim owned restaurant, schools, colleges, office buildings nor they can drink water in same glasses which is worst kind of hate on religion in Pakistan but this new trend of prohibition on use of toilets in schools is inexpressible in words” PCC Chief demanded government of Punjab to take immediate action against headmistress of government girl’s primary school 228 GB of Sumandri and file criminal charges against her to prevent spread this curse of hate in academic institutions.
