LAHORE: January 24, 2016. (PCP) As Pastor Saeed Abedini reaches USA from prison of Iran after successful campaign of Evangelist Franklin Graham who is son of star evangelist Billy Graham, all eyes of Pakistani Christians are on him also that he will pray for release of a Christian mother Asia Bibi sentenced to death on accusation of Blasphemy in Pakistan. As Pastor Saeed Abedini was sentenced to 8 years of prison in Islamic Republic of Iran due to preaching Christianity in 2013, it seemed impossible that he will ever reach USA but prayers of Evangelist Franklin Graham brought him back home. Asia Bibi was sentenced to death on defiling name of Prophet Mohammad by lower court in Pakistan after arguments with Muslim women co-worker when she drank water in same glass in which Muslim women drink in fields. The Muslim women objected that Christian (infidel) cannot drink water from same glass and later accused Asia Bibi that she defiled name of their prophet on which she was attacked by mob, tortured and later arrested and charged under Section 295 B and C PCC of blasphemy subjected to death sentenced. Holy Father Pope John Paul appealed government of Pakistan to free Asia Bibi and Holy Father Pope Francis also met with family of Asia Bibi but government of Pakistan denied to withdraw false charges of blasphemy framed against her which dismayed Christians around globe. Asia Bibi appeal against her death sentenced is accepted by Supreme Court of Pakistan but she is still behind bars with ill health as regular hearing on her case will be after six years according to schedule of cases. According to U.S. News Rep. Robert Pittenger doubts Abedini will ever return to Iran. "He saw the bigger picture. He was arrested because of his Christian faith. He's Iranian. He understands the government; he understands what these mullahs do. They're tyrants and they're very rigid sectarian Shiite Muslims, and they have no respect or tolerance for other sects, much less Christianity," Pittenger says. Sardar Mushtaq Gill who heads LEAD a free legal aid and advocacy group working for persecuted and faith prisoners in Pakistan, request evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham for advocacy support for Asia Bibi's release and other Pakistani faith prisoners. "I request evangelist Rev. Franklin Graham and other international groups who claim to raise their voice for religious freedom and faith prisoners in Pakistan. I request because they are arrested due to their Christian faith” Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC have also appealed Evangelist Franklin Graham to pray for release of Christian mother Asia Bibi who is sentenced to death on blasphemy charges due to her faith. Nazir Bhatti said that USA is supreme country in world and Evangelist Franklin Graham is son of Star of world Evangelist Billy Graham who can rescue Asia Bibi and press upon government of Pakistan to repeal blasphemy law which is forcing thousands of Christians to flee from Pakistan because violence is rising against religious minorities on its pretext. Pakistan Christian Congress PCC demanded for repeal of blasphemy law and its only Christian entity in Pakistan which filed petition in Lahore High Court to repeal blasphemy laws and later filed same in Federal Shariat Court in 1998, unless nor Shahbaz Bhatti who was Federal Minister for Minorities ever demanded repeal of blasphemy law in public or official forums:
