Zeba Gill invites attention of CLAAS leader towards Pakistani Christian asylum seekers

New York: February 20, 2016. (PCP) The Global Christian Voice GCV President Zeba Gill met here with Mr. Joseph Francis who leads CLAAS to discuss issues of Pakistani Christian in general and Pakistani Christian asylum seekers in Thailand in particular. Mr. Joseph Francis was visiting USA on invitation of State Department to participate in Annual Prayers breakfast hosted by President Obama in honor of delegates from around globe in month of February every year. CLAAS is an NGO which provides legal assistance and shelter to victims of blasphemy in Islamic Republic of Pakistan from decades. Mr. Rohail Samuel, coordinator of GCV USA also accompanied Zeba Gill in a meeting with Joseph Francis in New York. Both leaders of Pakistani Christians, Zeba Gill and Joseph Francis discussed current issues of Pakistani Christians and agreed to join hands to resolve it. In particular, the critical situation of Pakistani Christian Asylum seekers in Thailand was noted and GCV and CLAAS vowed to work together for their amnesty. Mr. Joseph Francis appreciated struggle of Zeba Gill and her efforts from Global Christian Voice GVC for persecuted Christians.
