London: February 24, 2016. (PCP) A delegation of International Christian Council ICC called on Minister Counsellor Dr. Phunchphop Mongkolnavin at Royal Kingdom of Thailand Embassy to present memorandum on situation of Pakistani Christian asylum seekers in Bangkok.
ICC delegation led by Qamar Shams Advocate comprised of Rev. Robinson Asghar, Ijaz H. James, Esther Das and Taskeen Khan.
ICC delegation discussed the whole crisis in great length and shared the best-possible solutions, including the issuing of the ID cards and permission to work during the time period while the asylum seekers wait for the outcome of their asylum cases by the UNHCR. Plus the better treatment and bails orders of the detainees and many other problems. Now pray that Thailand government reacts and respond immediately with best results.
