Make legislation against the private use of official Protocol in marriages

Islamabad: February 27, 2016. (PCP) Convener World Minority Alliance J Salik said that unfortunately we use official protocol privately in weddings when we are under huge debts of IMF and World Bank, it doesn’t suit to the Prime Minister, President, Federal and provincial ministers of such a poor country. He said that how can we even think for the protocol when each and every child of our nation is under a huge amount of loans. He said that in such a situation our growth is impossible and I think our (Pakistan’s) existence is a great miracle as a country on the world map where half of its population is forced to sleep hungry and we are using millions of rupees for the protocol of the ministers. He said that the things I am talking about are not very difficult to practice as I have proved it by practicing them in the wedding ceremony of my only son. He said that despite being federal minister I not only refused to use my official protocol but I didn’t invite Prime minister, President or any Federal or Provincial minister in the marriage of my only son because I knew that it will definitely effect state’s budget. J Salik demanded to make legislation against the private use of official Protocol in marriages. He said that social media should play its role by social boycotting of such protocol lovers to safe the further loss of our national budget.
