Interfaith Peace Prayers for Christian martyrs of Youhanabad Church bombing

Lahore: March 18, 2016. (PCP) Social Action Transformation of Humanity organized an event to offer an interfaith peace prayer with the families of martyrs at Youhanabad twin churches terrorist attacks as a first commemoration, took place on March 15, 2015. This event was organized to express solidarity by the civil societies along with religious and political leaders, human right defenders, peace activists and people from all religion comprising Bhai’s, Christian, Hindu, Muslim and Sikh communities. People from different walks of life, expressed their solidarity towards martyrs and their families with the emphasis of Christian role and efforts to build and uplift the country. A peace prayer in solidarity to the victims and express our unity abolishes such occurrence to our nation of Pakistanis that hinders the success of the country thus promoting solidarity and interfaith peace harmony in Pakistan. Mr. Ansar Javed, Moulana Shakeel-ul-Rehman, Mr. Sohail Ahmed Raza, Ms. Lubna Mansoor, Director Human Rights, Law and Justices, Syed Waqar Hussain Naqvi, Bhaghat Lal, Mr. Yousaf Bajori, Dr. Herman Reborgh, Ms. Shunila Ruth, MPA, Ms. Tehmina Rana, and Mr. Kashif Nawab Director SATH Pakistan expressed their mindful thoughts that such similar events must go on in the wide spread in the country eliminating hatred that had indulged in the mindset promoting interfaith peace to develop the community that leads to a strong nation. The speakers also demanded the recognition of martyrs who played important role to save thousands of lives; Government of Punjab must reward them with a national civil reward.
