PCC appeals Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Malik Riaz to help liver patient Christian girl

Karachi: June 20, 2016. (PCP) The Central Secretariat of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC in a press note have appealed Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Chief of Bahria Town Malik Riaz to help in treatment of one 10 years old Christian girl suffering from critical liver disease. The parents of Sneha Shahzad are very poor and cannot afford expenditures of treatment of liver disease. The doctors have advised that liver transplant is only treatment to safe life of Sneha. Mr. Shahzad, father of sick Sneha said that his monthly income is only 13,000 Rupees which is not enough to make two ends meet of his family and cannot bear high payments for hospital bills of his daughter. He further said that he has two daughters and unable to support their education fees and cry that how he to safe life of one of his daughter. “Shehzad further went on to disclose that the girl has been suffering since a year and has remained in critical situation, however, a local hospital showed reluctance to administer treatment to her. In his desperation, he approached a team of doctors visiting from India, who told him that Senha’ liver transplant will cost about 40 lac Rupees” according to one Christian news outlet. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti said that there was time when poor Muslims were approaching Churches and Christian hospitals in Pakistan to get free medical assistance but now a days Christian clergy is unable to help ill Christian poor patients which is very tragic. Nazir Bhatti said that he is personally writing and appeal letter to Chief Minister of Punjab and Bossiness Tycoon Malik Riaz to help Sneha Shahzad and support her liver transplant. Father of Sneha Shahzad has also appealed to Prime Minister of Pakistan to safe life of her daughter; Mr. Shahzad can be directly contacted on # 03022212112.
