Lahore: July 9, 2016. (Qaisar Loudhi) A 16 year old Christian girl Sonia, who is student of 6th class in Government high school killy, was rapid by a Muslim boy named Iqrar Hussain. The police station of Sadar farooqaabad lodged (First Information Report) F.I.R number 262/16 offence 376 PPC against rapist Iqrar Hussain kamboh, and arrested him. On 7 July 2016 at10am she was going back from church after the rehearsal of Sunday school. Iqrar Hussain who was neighbor of Sonia`s waiting for Sonia on the front of his house when she came near the door Iqrar Hussain stopped her and pushed her in his house forcedly and threatened her for killing and raped her forcedly.. According to F.I.R (First Information Report) Muhammad Iqrar Hussain who lived front of Sonia`s house he forcibly pushed her in the room and raped her and when her parents Naseer Masih (and Inayar Masih Grandfather of Sonia who lived in this village since 1947) heard the voice of Sonia they entered the house of Iqrar but he was runaway. And the parents of Sonia`s called to Police and lodged F.I.R against accused Iqrar Hussain Kamboh who is a laborer. But some local persons forced the family for compromise, and the family keeps seeking for the Justice. Human Right Activist Napoleon Qayyum says, where the Women Protection Bill in Punjab is, and The Government is failed to provide protection to Minorities in Pakistan. According to Mr. Khalid Shahzad, a Christian community leader, the rapist of Christian girl is personal body of Muslim Member of National Assembly Mr. Muhammad Irfan Dogar who is putting pressure on parents of victim to compromise and interfering in police investigation. Mr. Khalid told Pakistan Christian Post that it is ironic to note that when Muhammad Iqrar Hussain was dragging Christian girl to one room in his home, his full family member along with ladies were at home and watching this rape episode but none of Muslim ladies tried to rescue Christian girl. The police was reluctant to register rape case against guard of Irfan Dogar MNA but on pressure of Christian leaders and organizations filed FIR but no one is sure that justice will be ensure.
