Secretary Information of PAT UK, Mr Rizwan Warraich has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on a Christian School in Murree and hospital in Taxila.

Talking to local journalists in Manchester, he termed the incidents as attacks against humanity and went on to say that the sick people responsible were enemies of Islam, Pakistan and humanity. Criticizing the government, Mr Warraich said that they should take rapid and stern action to catch the culprits and to bring them to justice, and prevent any such further attacks, as it was one of the prime responsibilities of the government to control the law and order situation. Mr Warraich also added that the government should also take special measures to ensure the safety of every Pakistani citizen in general and the minorities in particular. In response to a question regarding the role of the intelligence agencies the Secretary Information of PAT UK, stated that the government machinery and the intelligence agencies can do more to control the law and order situation if they were not pre-occupied with internal politics and pre-poll rigging. Finally, Mr Warraich made it clear that Pakistan Awami Tehreek has always supported the Christian community in Pakistan and enjoys a good brotherly relationship with them. He also claimed that if PAT were to be elected in the October elections they would ensure security and full rights to the minorities in Pakistan.
