AFB to mark anniversary of Nawab Akbar Bugti in Washington DC on August 26

Washington DC: August 6, 2016. (PCP) American Friends of Balochistan AFB founder Mr. Ahmar Mustikhan in a press release have announced that anniversary of Martyr Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti will be observed in Washington DC on August 26, 2016. Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti was martyred by Dictator General Pervez Musharraf when he was on protest for the rights of poor and oppressed people of Balochistan. Nawab Brahumdagh Bugti, president of the Baloch Republican Party and chief of the largest Bugti tribe in Balochistan (by skype from Geneva, Switzerland), M.J. Akbar, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Government of India, Amrullah Saleh, president of the Afghanistan Green Trend and former head of the National Directorate of Security in Afghanistan, Husain Haqqani, South and Central Asia director at the Hudson institute and former ambassador of Pakistan to the U.S, Peter Tatchell, International Human Rights and Gay Rights Defender, Bob Blackman, MP England, Arif Jamal, author of Call for Transnational Jihad: Lashkar-e-Taiba 1985-2014, T. Kumar, International Advocacy Director, Amnesty International and Prof M. Chris Mason, Historian will also speak on this occasion. Jane E Weisner, general secretary of the American Friends of Balochistan, will deliver the welcome address while Founder of AFB Mr. Ahmar Khan will lead session.
