Christians paid tributes to Michael Javed in Memorial Service

New York: October 30, 2016. (PCP) The Christian from all walks of life gather to offer their prayers and homage to services of Michael Javed in a Memorial services held in Queens County of New York on October 29, 2016, organized by former MPA Punjab Mr. Pervez Rafiq under banner of Bleeding for Belief organization. Mr. Michael Javed Chairman Minority Front Pakistan and four times elected Member of Sindh Assembly passed away on September 28, 2016, after heart attack in Karachi at age of 62 years. Mr. Pervez Rafiq lauded 30 years services of Michael Javed for Christian community of Pakistan with raising voice for their due rights on floor of Sindh Assembly, organizing rallies and leading protests; He was well known leader from Karachi to Peshawar and respected due to his stance for minority rights. Mr. Akram Masig Gill former Member National Assembly and Federal Minister for Human Rights, Mr. Albert Massey, ICCF Chief Mr. Tariq Javed and other leaders were present with many participants. Rev. Dr. Samie Samson led the prayers of Memorial Service and for the soul of late Christian leader Mr. Michael Javed. Meanwhile, Mr. Tariq Javed, President of ICCF: International Community Care Foundation, United States of America, participated in the memorial service of Micheal Javed (MPA, Sindh Assembly of Pakistan). According to press release, President of ICCF, shared that he does not know personally Mr. Micheal Javed (MPA), however, he heard that he was a great leader, social worker and he worked a lot for the voiceless people. He admired and appreciated the services of diseased Mr. Micheal Javed. He said that Mr. Micheal Javed was an example for the new political leaders and the political leaders should follow his vision of empowerment of Christian community in Pakistan. He also said that in USA, Christian community is growing a lot and there are many new community leaders who are working for the various Christian community causes of Pakistan and he appreciated all the Pakistani Christian Organizational leaders and their work. He also asked the audience to stand up for a while and clap and thank for his services, he provided as Christian Community leader in Pakistan. At the end he thanked Mr. Pervez Rafiq for an organizing memorial service and creating an awareness of his services, he performed for the communities of Pakistan
