Karachi: November 25, 2016. (PCP) Miss Jacqueline Sultan, Advocate High Court and a active Human Rights activist appreciated the decision of Hon’ble Anti-Terrorism Court who sentenced five men to death on two counts for their involvement in the burning alive of a Christian couple in Kot Radha Kishan in 2014. She said it is now become cleared that Shahzad Masih and Shama Bibi was falsely accused of tossing out pages of the Quran along with the rubbish, desecrating the Muslim holy book. She further added that there are numerous incidents in Pakistan where people of minority faiths have been alleged of blasphemy and are fighting legal battles like Asiya Bibi whose case is under hearing in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. She said if the orders of Hon’ble Court be implemented then fantastic / fundamentalists will not lodge false cases against minorities under the Blasphemy law as well as the precious lives of the minority will become more safe in Pakistan.
