Karachi: December 3, 2016. (PCP) Miss Jacqueline Sultan, Christian Lawyer and Human Rights Activist message on International Day of Disabled Persons, the Government should provide facilities to the special persons so that they come forward and play their constructive role in the Society as well as for the development of Pakistan. She said disable peoples feel restricted in employment, education, social as well as political participation on equal basis.
She said the numbers of disabled persons are increasing day by day and persons with disabilities are depending on their families. Government should take steps to provide training and education to enable them to earn and live more respectable lives. She demands increase of disabled quota in government sector which is currently 2% and their rights implementation as per rules.
