Global Council of Indian Christians(GCIC) thanks all prayer warriors for their prayers for Our coordinator Brother Asit Mohanti`s most difficult mission of securing bail for the Innocent Christian brothers falsely implicated by the Orissa police. At last, after much struggle the 25 year old Amit Kumar Roul who was arrested as a scapegoat on last 26th October and jailed, during the gospel meeting in Udayagiri, Orissa was granted bail on GCIC`s active intervention, Amit got his Bail application accepted by the Session`s Judge of Kandhamal Dist. on 01.11.06 afternoon although the same was rejected by the Judicial Magistrate (First Class)-Trial Court. The victim Young man only by the grace of God could be released this morning 03.11.06 at about 0630AM from the Jail and returned to his home with GCIC escorts The complainant (radical Sangh Parivar group) also tried to kidnap him up from the Jail when he was released. Praise God! Just one hour back he reached safely at his hometown Cuttack. (Today) The confidential sources from the desk of the Superintendent of Police & Intelligence Deptt at Kandhamal Dist. revealed to us that Sangh Parivar radicals under the leadership of Swami Laxamanananda Saraswati were planning to unleash terror on 26th October 2006 during Bro. Manohar`s healing gospel meeting with all dreadful weapons. They have first surrounded the local Police station of G. Udayagiri where the Crusade was going .Few BJP State Ministers at the same time contacted the police in Udayagiri from Bhubaneswar, all of them demanding arrest of this young man and the organizers. They also wanted to withdraw permission given to the organizers. It is reliably learned that they even threatened that their cadres will take the law into their hands and go down to the meeting spot for MASS KILLING OF CHRISTIANS attending the gospel meeting. Hence, Police in order to please the political masters, hesitatingly implicated this young man & the organizers into IPC 153A and 161 CRPC under case no.88/06, dtd.26.10.06. This young man is from a very poor believer family from Cuttack whose father is a deaf man and he had gone to the gospel meeting at Udayagiri to sell some books and earn some money to meet some expenses of his sister`s marriage Books sold at the venue of the meeting The Book called OH, YOU HINDU AWAKE (an Atom Bomb to the Hindu religion) in the memory of the late Periyar E.V. Ramaswami & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar by Prof. Hadwa Dom based on the original Indian Patriots Council Edition by Dr. R.K. Chatterjee, published by Dalitstan Journal, save Hinduism Campaign Committee, 16 Bankim Chandra Chatterjee St. Kolkata, India has contents of: 1. Introduction, 2. Who are the Brahmins? 3. It has thence been archived in the Amedkar Library.
