Pakistani Christian condemn suicide blast in Laal Shahbaz Qalandar Shrine

Islamabad: February 17, 2017. (PCP) Attackers are the worst enemies of humanity and they want to weaken us by different tactics but we have to stay united said J Salik in a press statement here today. Convener World Minorities Alliance and Organizer Awami Maseeha Party Mr. J Salik expressed his immense grief and condemned the Sehwan Sharife Blast very hard. He said that the loss of more than eighty precious lives in the incident is a major loss. He said that the attackers are the worst enemies of humanity and they want to weaken us by different tactics but we have to stay united against the enemy at this bad time. He further said that terrorism is the one among important issues being faced by Pakistan and it’s really very important to resolve this issue as soon as possible. He expressed his grief and prayed that may God keep our country safe and end the curse of terrorism from our country. On the occasion he offered his prayers for the patience of Shuhda’s families and speedy recovery of the injured. Meanwhile, Pakistan Christian Congress PCC Chief Dr. Nazir S Bhatti has strongly condemned suicide bombing in shrine in Sindh which killed 88 and injured more than 300 hundred pilgrims. Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine is very famous and attracts millions of pilgrims from every part of Pakistan from every sect of Muslims. There is one Muslim sect in Pakistan which views praying on shrine un-Islamic and in past have targeted pilgrims and killed hundreds. Dr. Nazir Bhatti said that government of Pakistan has failed to protect its citizens from religious extremism which have spread fear among enlightened Muslims. In an earlier statement, Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council and Member National Assembly Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has appealed to all local Hindu citizens residing in the Sehwan Sharif area to provide assistance to the terror attack victims in this critical time and most importantly, ensure to donate blood on urgent basis. In a emergency statement issued, Dr Ramesh Vankwani termed the attack on the the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar "attack on humanity", saying that the shrine was equally respectable to followers of all faiths. He further said that the shrine was a symbol of peace, humanity and love to all.
