Saleem Khokhar condemn Terror attack on Sufi Shrine

Liverpool: February 18, 2017. (PCP) Saleem Khursheed Khokhar, Ex Member Provincial Assembly Sindh and Former Chairman Standing Committee on Minorities Affairs Sindh Assembly in a statement strongly condemned terrorist attack in shrine of Sufi Saint Lal Shahbaz Qalandar at Sehwan Sharif, Sindh Pakistan where at least 88 martyred and dozens injured. He said Pakistan has been badly affected by war and terror which affected our education, life style, economical value, and social values. There is need to give the terrorists / extremists a retort of their bad deeds and save our Pakistan from them. He said China is making a record investment in Pakistan and enemies of the country are trying to create an environment of fear to discourage foreign investors. He said that the low literacy rate and ill-mind set are the main reasons of terrorism, there is need of change of mindset through education. He suggested that the government should hold dialogue with the militants willing to stop violent activities, and continue operation against those who continued terrorist activities. He said Pakistan needs to bring its house into order and implement the National Action Plan in letter and spirit immediately to curb terrorism and violence. He expressed condolences to the victims and their families and wish a full recovery for all of those injured. Meanwhile, Christian Lawyer and Human Rights Activist Ms. Jacqueline Sultan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Sehwan Sharif. She expressed sympathy with the families of those who were martyred in the attack and demanded that the plotters of the barbaric crime must be brought to provide justice to the effected families. She said this attack cowardly terror attack. She prayed for early recovery of injured and said nation is united against the terrorist and enemies of Pakistan. She demanded the authorities concerned to ensure best medical treatment for the injured.
