Lahore: April 11, 2017. (Sunil John) Majlias Wahadat Muslimin, Pakistan (MWM) is an Islamic Socio-Political religious congregation working for the unity between different denominations of Muslims. A dinner was offered by the said organization in honor of Christian delegation of National Commission of Inter-religious Dialogue and Ecumenism. (NCIDE) The delegation consisted of Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap, Fr. Inayat Bernard, Rev. Emmanuel Khokher, Rev. Saleem Khokher, Pervaiz Akhtar and Sunil John. The Muslim Scholars and leaders welcomed the delegations wholeheartedly and cited the presence of Christians in their head office. Dr. Amjad Hussain Chishti and Allama Asad Abbas Naqvi announced to activate an interfaith wing soon in their organization. While thanking the hosts, Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap expressed his happiness and appreciated the idea of having an Inter-faith dialogue wing rather than minority wing. He condemned the recent bomb blast in Lahore which claimed 7 precious lives. He prayed and expressed his desire that Peace may prevail in Pakistan. The Muslim leaders present at this ceremony were Allama Pir Shifaat Rasool Noori, Allama Hassan Raza Kazmi, Pir S.A. Jaffari, and Mufti Sayyed Ashiq Hussain.
