Lahore: April 12, 2017. (Sunil John) It was a cherishing moment to see a number of youngsters from a Muslim midrise called; Bait-ul-Quran who welcomed and showed petals of roses on His Grace Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw who paid them a visit along with the Christian Delegation of National Commission of Inter-religious Dialogue and Ecumenism (NCIDE). They were warmly welcomed and accepted by the Muslim scholars, teachers and the principal of this Islamic Seminary.
The Archbishop got mingled with the students of the Madrisa and shared with them his views. He expressed his happiness and excitement to be among the future preachers of Islam. He advised them to be an instrument of peace and harmony. He appreciated the students for learning the skills of sewing and computer education along with their religious education. The Delegation cited the idea of practical education.
The principal of Bait-ul-Quran; Mufti Sayed Ashiq Hussain thanked the Archbishop for gracing the atmosphere of the Madrisa with his presence. Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap, Fr. Inayat Bernard, Fr. Javed Kashif OFM Cap, Fr. Qaiser Feroz OFM Cap and the students of St. Marys Seminary accompanied his Grace.
