Islamabad: May 12, 2017. (PCP) Convener World Minorities Alliance Mr. J Salik will march Alone on foot against the worst cruelty with Minority (Muslims) in Burma today from his residence, House #1, St.#31, G-6/2, Melody, Islamabad to UNO Office, G-5 Islamabad. J Salik was carried a Play card on his shoulder with the picture of General Secretary UNO Mr. Antonio Guterres and Slogans, Stop killing Muslims, Stop cruelty in Burma. Resident coordinator UNO Mr. Neil Buhne received the memorandum; the text of this memorandum is as under Through the medium of this memorandum we seek the attention of the august house of the United Nations towards the minorities of Burma, who are facing a sustained wave of brutal repression at the hands of Buddhist (Majority). It is highlighted that the minorities in Burma are facing the persecution and innocent people are losing their lives without any reason. Nation League was failed to achieve its goals because over 6o million people were killed in Second World War, then it was replaced with United Nation in 1946 to continue the job, but in present situation we are confused that is it United nation or Nation league? The silence on the part of the UNO and other international institutions for human rights amounted to criminal negligence. It is also stated that the silence of Nobel Peace Prize winners is also suspected, they should return their Prizes if they are just watching all the persecution and doing nothing against this massive discrimination. It is demanded that please call all the stakeholders i.e Papa-e-Azam, Imam Khana Kabah and Bishop of Canterbury to resolve the issue of Minorities in Burma on immediate basis.
