Hyderabad: July 12, 2017. (Abbas Kassar) A delegation of Implementation of Minority Rights Forum led by Chief Coordinator Imtiaz Boota called on Hyderabad Mayor Syed Tayyab Hussain in his office and apprised him of the issues and problems faced by minorities including recruitments under 5% minority quota, special quota for women and special persons, to regularize services of sanitary workers and women workers, to carry out development schemes in minority colonies, to form inquiry committee required under harassment to women at work place and to improve conditions at minority graveyard Tando Yousuf.
Mayor Hyderabad heard the delegation with patience and assured of solving their problems. He said he believes in service of citizens without any discrimination. He said despite shortage of resources and funds he was trying to make city better. On this occasion Chief Municipal Officer Shahid Ali Khan, minority member of HMC Romas Bhatti, Shamsahd Kanwal member Sindh Human Rights Commission, advocate Mumtaz Ali Abbasi memberHRCP, Victor Gulzar Gill,Zohaib Azeem,Ashfaq Bhatti, Christopher Columbus,Wasim Izek, Irfan Khokhar, Tariq Noor,Arif Gill, Ashfaq, Danish Bhatti,Saleem Baga and Baji Nasreen Masih were also present.
