(By Abbas Kassar) Christian Peace Alliance Pakistan has said that wine/alcohol was declared Haraam in all religions including Christians but in Pakistan some vested interests were continuing this ugly business under guise of and using name of minorities and playing with lives of innocent Pakistanis.
Now that Christian community was observing Lent (fasting days) from ASH 14 February to 1st April (Easter) they have demanded from government and chief justice of Pakistan to order closure of all wine shops in Pakistan (sale and purchase) as mark of respect during fasting season of Christian community of Pakistan.
