Lahore: July 8, 2007. Naveed Walter, President Human Rights Focus Pakistan in his statement today appreciated President General Pervez Musharraf on the way he has tackled the situation of Lal Masjid(Red Mosque). He added that in the future no mob like the Lal Masjid one should not be allowed to flourish rather it should be eliminated right in the beginning. The law enforcing agencies did a good job through the smooth operation revealing the real face of the so-called contractors of Islam. Every one know now that Lal Mosque Maulanas Abdur Azia & Abdurrashid`s greed reached an extent that they resorted to illegally occupy government land around Lal Masjid and started using the mosque`s vicinity as a sanctuary for those extremists who were involved in acts of terror, arson, kidnapping and murder. In return they received heavy funding from unknown quarters and enjoyed the unimaginable perks of life. Jamia Faridia in E-7 and Jamia Hafsa in G-6 had thousands of students, both male and female, who were supported through these funds. According to reports, Jaishe Mohammad militants used to train these boys and girls of these seminaries. Naveed Walter demanded to government to solve this tension as soon as possible ,because from the last sixth days the operation against them is continue and the Islamic millitants with Abdurrasheed are not agree to come out from the mosque because they claimed that they have more than one month`s armature and food to continue this war. Naveed Walter appealed to Musharraf that after the drop scene of Lal mosque his government will start to check the all maddrassas(Islamic schools) and will take the same action if any other one will also involve in the same terror activities like Lal Mosque, Jamia hafsa and Jamia Faridia.
