Toronto: May 21, 2019. (PCP) The Goan Overseas Association, The Canadian Goan Christian Group and The Sri Lankan Catholic Association are organizing an Ecumenical service on Tuesday May 21,2019 from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm at the Canadian Coptic Centre, 1245 Eglinton Avenue West, Mississauga.
This Ecumenical celebration is on the 30th day anniversary to commemorate the Massacre of our Christian Faithful in Sri Lanka.
This event has been put together at short notice. This is a unique opportunity for all members of the Christian Faith to come together to pray and remember those killed because they were living their faith. This is one of many ways that we can show our support for our fellow Christians who are being persecuted and terrorized. As a community, let this be the beginning of our personal attempt to show we can do more and better to support our fellow Christians.
