Sialkot: Although incidents of cruelty and injustice against Christians have become commonplace in various cities of Pakistan, but here is Faisalabad, a big city of Punjab province, where the most cases of religious prejudice are taking place.Last year, 24 churches and houses of hundreds of Christians were burnt in one day in Jaranwala Tehsil of the same district.Immediately after that, there was a murderous attack on Pastor Vicky of Presbyterian Church in the same city, after which various people were charged with blasphemy.Since last evening, there is a 60-year-old Christian colony in Akbarabad, an area of the same city, which has about 80 Christian homes.

The entire area of this colony on which houses of Christians are built belongs to a powerful Muslim politician, Raja Muhammad Riaz, who is the main leader of the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz political party and a former leader of the opposition in the National Assembly of Pakistan. His forefathers had sold this land to poor Christians and given them receipts for payment.Unfortunately, these people did not get these lands registered in their names due to poverty, now that the value of these lands has increased and greed has arisen in the heart of Raja Riaz.So he is evicting Christians from their homes with the help of the police and his private bodyguards.A large number of residents of this colony have been protesting on the streets since yesterday, but no one is listening to them.Despite their demands, no Christian MP or Minister of Minority Affairs came to their aid.During the rainy season, people are helpless under the open sky waiting for the help of christian leadership
