Faisalabad: In a world often divided by borders, beliefs, and identities, there arise rare souls whose presence becomes a bridge between hearts. Sufi Masood Ahmed Saddiqui Lasani Sarkar  (Late) was one such luminous personality — a spiritual guide, humanitarian servant, and ambassador of peace whose life became a living message of divine love in action.

His guiding principle was simple yet profoundly transformative:

“First Humanity, Religions Later.”said by Sufi Masood Ahmed Saddiqui Lasani Sarkar  (Late)

These words were not merely spoken — they were lived. From the year 1980, his spiritual and humanitarian movement began nurturing seeds of interfaith harmony, compassion, and spiritual awakening in Pakistan. Over time, this message of Sufi love crossed borders, gaining recognition and followers internationally, as hearts everywhere resonated with his call toward unity.

Promoting peace and respect among different faiths

Awakening hearts through the inner light of Sufism

His influence reached thousands of followers across nations, transforming his Sufi path into a humanitarian movement where spirituality walked hand in hand with compassion. He also founded and inspired the establishment of several welfare foundations dedicated to the betterment of society.

He was widely respected among all kinds of religious background’ people, especially Pakistan’s distinguished circles — poets, scholars, human rights advocates, and spiritual seekers — all of whom admired his gentle wisdom and inclusive vision and got blessed ideas. His presence radiated dignity, humility, and a deep fragrance of divine remembrance.

He also served as the Founder and Chairman of “Mashake Uzama Pakistan,” a platform created to promote Sufism, spiritual refinement, and interfaith brotherhood.

A Gathering of Souls, Not Just Religions

Each year in July, an Annual Sufism Convention continues to reflect his vision. At this sacred gathering, religious leaders and followers from different faith traditions — Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and Muslims and scholars of all religions — come together not in debate, but in respect and spiritual harmony. It is a living example of unity in diversity.

In a remarkable gesture of interfaith love, Lasani Sarkar gave special honor to the Christian celebration of “Yaum-e-Wiladat (Christmas) Al-Essa Messiah ( Jesus Christ) and Sayda Marriam Pak ( Saint Mary)”, affirming that divine light shines through all traditions and that love is the shared language of faith.

After his passing, his elder son,

Shahib Zada Pir Shabbir Ahmed Saddiqui assumed spiritual leadership, carrying forward his father’s mission with devotion and responsibility. Under his guidance, Sufi gatherings, spiritual festivals, and humanitarian works continue across Pakistan and internationally.
