Srinagar: 25 November 2008. (PCP) Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front –JKLF-(Aman) has made it clear that elections under the present circumstances are not credible. Senior Vice Chairman of JKLF Sheikh Mohammed Afzal has said that the arrest of pro freedom leader, use of force on peaceful protestors, killings of unarmed youth by Indian forces should serve as eye opener to those who are taking part in elections. He said that India presents these elections as substitute to right of self-determination to the world. In the meantime Chairman of J&K National Panthers Party Professor Bhim Singh paid a visit to Sheikh Mohammed Afzal in Trehgam police station where he has been detained since 8th of November 2008. JKLF leader told Prof Bhim Singh that trade between the two segments of Kashmir have become a laughing stock. He urged the Panthers party chief to raise his voice against the human rights violation committed in the state. Independent candidate from Kupwara Shabnam Gani Lone also paid a visit to detained leader last week.
