USA: November 27, 2008. (PCP) Federation of Indian American Christian Organizations in North America is pained and anguished at the mindless violence in Mumbai and strongly condemns it. FIACONA feels this culture of violence and loss of innocent lives is sickening our society. The glorification of any type of violence has to be discouraged. Bernard Malik President of FIACONA calls for propagation and practice of principles of nonviolence as espoused by Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the nation. Mr. Malik says “ Nonviolence should be taught as a subject in schools so our coming generations will have more respect for life and peaceful coexistence” Bernard Malik"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evilis for good men to do nothing" - Edmund Burke Breach of confidentiality This message contains privileged and confidential information intended solely for the use of the addressee named above.
