Dear Editor, I have found your website very interesting and informative. It has provided me with an avenue to learn more about the world of Islam. It has opened up a world that I am trying to learn more about. I am seeking info and advice concerning relationships between Christians and Muslims that may lead to marriage. My knowledge of Islam is limited, but what I have been reading concerns me. My 22 year old daughter has been dating a Muslim for 10 months. She seems to have fallen totally in love with him. He has lived in the US for 20 years, but is originally from Afganistan. I have no reason to suspect him of being anything but a nice young person. He is pursuing an education and seems to be an average American college student. He is very nice and has been extremely good to our daughter. My heart wants to trust this young man, and believe the best of him. My mind tells me otherwise. Do you have any suggestions for me on how I should approach this situation? I love my daughter very much and do not want her to be hurt. Thank you for your help. Mary.
