“Listen Mr. Zardari” says Natun Thakur

By : thakur

Dear Friends, Now that Mr Asif Ali Zardari has become the President of Pakistan and hence its first person, his situation and his constitutional status have changed. But as Mr Arshad Ali Khan from Umma broadcasting has rightly said, can the past deeds of Mr Zardari and the immense number of charges ;levelled against him get diluted and washed away simply because he has become the Numero uno in the administrative hierarchy. Is this the way the law of any land shall act? Is this not a way of providing immunity to the corrupt and giving incentives to such people to go for Constitutional status so that all their past sins are washed away within a moment. I don't think the western democracies believe in such principles. There every person has to pay for his past sins. The same shall hold in the South East Asian region as well, whether it is India or Pakistan or Bangladesh or any other country. I appreciate Mr Arshad Ali Khan for raising this very important issue.
