While I cannot speak for my government, nor for the entire American Christian population, I would like to state that I, and many others, do care intensely for the Christians of Pakistan,as well as for all the people of Pakistan. Since making Pakistani friends via the internet, we have studied about Pakistan and its people and have become very attached to this beautiful country. We regularly pray for the Christians in Pakistan and weep tears in their behalf before the Lord.
I can understand your frustration over the situation, but feel it is not valid to wholely blame these attacks on (perceived) "Christian" America. While world politics may influence behavior, we know that behind it all is spiritual warfare which is controlling the hearts and minds and actions of men. We need to continue to turn our eyes to Jesus who alone can bring real peace.
It has always been true that the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church. I am praying that God will take the tragedy of all these recent attacks, and in His marvelous way use it to further His Kingdom here on earth, and especially in Pakistan.
I do not pretend to understand what it is like to live in your situation. But I do know that the Word of God is true and it says in Psalm 34:4 "I sought the Lord and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." I and many others are standing with you in prayer and if God should ever make it so, I would go there and live and serve God in Pakistan.
Please do not feel that you will be paying the price for "American interests" with your blood - that would be a loss. But recognize wherein the true battle lies, and if you give your physical life, let it be only for the cause of Christ. For truely, no one can take your life unless God allows it for His purposes.
You are not alone, for many stand with you all in prayer.
Your sister in Christ,
