Mr Mall in his letter urges other Christians not to reply to the comments and queries that letters from anonymous Muslim writer contains. Furthermore, he reminds us that this is a debate between himself and the anonymous Muslim writer. This is all out of order for many reasons including the following: 1 This is a public debate and not a private debate. Claiming otherwise would be a denial of an individual's right to freedom of expression. 2 The subject of debate happens to an old one, and Mr Asif's approach has already been extensively used by our forefathers. Many of these nimble-minded theologians, at the end of their lives, regretted having gone on that route of presenting Christianity. I insist that we all should be able to look at an issue from different perspectives in a true spirit of dialogue, otherwise how would it be different from Saudi-Arabia or most other Muslim countries.
