Pakistan Christian Association of USA elects Nazir Bhatti as President, Stephen Jaleel VP, William Shahzad Chairman and Atique Khokar as SG.


New York: August 13, 2007. The annual general meeting of Pakistan Christian Association of USA was held here on August 12, 2007,

under Chairmanship of Mr. William Shahzad. The delegates elected PCA leaders for 2007-2008, as Nazir S Bhatti President, Stephen Jaleel Vice President, David Edward VP, Yaqoob Yohanna VP, William Shahzad Chairman, Atique John Khokhar Secretary General, Babar Khokar Secretary Coordinator and Finance. Mr. Emmanuel Daulat were nominated as Secretary coordination for Pakistan and Mr. Nasir Dean, Habib Gill and Khadim Hector Momeen were elected as Directors of PCA. In a resolution, PCA body decided to boycott all celebrations of Independence Day of Pakistan on August 14, 2007, to protest against persecution of Christians and failure of government of Pakistan to provide adequate security. In another resolution PCA urged to approach United Nations to seek refugee status for Pakistani Christians.
