Presidents, Ameers and Organizers of 30 political and religious parties in Islamabad attended the conference. A unique idea of conference tables with the name of “Pakistan Table” was introduced. Before beginning the conference, guard of honor was given to the respected guests with live band on side. And whole conference hall was fragranced with rose water for the occasion. In the beginning Quran was recited by a muslaim A’lim and Paster Kawanal Feroze of Lahore prayed from Bible for solidarity of Pakistan. National anthem and a song “Tazeem-e-Parcham” was sung by the participants, waving national flags in every ones hand. Tarique chaudhry, President National Press Club said in his opening address to the conference that J. salik took the first steep in such a frozen political atmosphere of country when every one is astonished by the situation. Let me say J. Salik is one of his types, who gathered leaders having different thoughts. He is a peace lover Pakistani and we always felt proud for him. Media is behind him through his struggle for the betterment of minorities and humanity. Babar Minhas Said in his speech that we love our mother land more then any other nation in the world, because our country and nation is so beautiful. We will not spare any enemy of our country in any case. We have glorious history of year 1965, defending our land. J.Salik addressing participants of conference was very glad and said that in a dead political atmosphere when I called political leaders of Islamabad to come and discuss about the current situation of country, they appreciated me and by the grace of God they are here. Let me tell you that some of our political parties don’t have their office bearers in capital so they sent representative even far away cities of Hyderabad, Raheem Yaar Khan and Lahore also. I am feeling proud to say that I am the ever first minority political worker, who called his Muslim Political leadership and they gathered here on this unique Pakistan Table. J.salik said we Pakistanies are peace loving nation. Our message of the day is LOVE for ALL. A resolution was passed unanimously saying that conference of local leadership will be held after every two months in Islamabad. Secondly national leaders must be sit around “Pakistan Table” during upcoming All parties national conference. Third point was that minorities of Pakistan demands right of direct election of their representative to assemblies instated of selection system.
