Shahbaz Bhatti kept silent on ruling of Deputy Speaker “no Christian prayer for victim Shazia in National Assembly”

do not represent 20 million Pakistani Christian when house can not offer Christian prayers to deceased Shazia Bashir Masih, a 12 year old girl raped and murdered by one Muslim lawyer. There a hundreds of prayer proceeding for deceased Muslims on record of house who were not members of parliament but Islamic prayers (Dua) or “Fateha” was offered for them in National Assembly of Pakistan but in Shazia case, the ruling of Deputy Speaker have clarified that Christians not belong to this institution. The ruling came when Awami National Party ANP leader Bushra Gohar MNA raised Shazia killing issue on point of order and suggested to offer prayers for victim. Shahbaz Bhatti, Federal Minister for Minorities, who is selected by ruling Pakistan Peoples Party on reserved seats for Christian in National Assembly of Pakistan not insisted on Christian prayers for deceased Shazia but presented a resolution to regret on killing of teenage Christian housemaid and praised government for announcement of cash compensation. Nazir Bhatti said it is same building of National Assembly where elected members of Christians were starting their speeches with name of Jesus and it is on record that one Christian leader used to recite “Daily Prayers” before his speech from 1985 to 1998, under Separate Electorate. “The ruling of deputy speaker not to offer Christian prayers have surprised millions of Pakistani Christians and silence of a Christian Member of National Assembly and Federal Minority Minister Shahbaz Bhatti have spread anger among them” said Nazir Bhatti Nazir Bhatti added “These selected Christians in National Assembly and four Provincial Assemblies by Muslim political groups not represent Christians but represent Muslim parties and house have no Christian voice unless all Christians have staged walk out on ruling of deputy speaker” Nazir S Bhatti retreated that Christians not trust in government claims to ensure justice in killing of Shazia case. Nazir Bhatti expressed concern of statement of PML(N) leader Begum Attia Inayatullaha when talking on point or order called Ammant Masih and his wife “a gang” . Ammant Masih and his wife are also arrested by Defense Police Station in connection with Shazia rape and killing case because they provided maid job to Shazia in home of killer Mohammad Naeem advocate. The Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Shrif leader of Pakistan Muslim League PML(N) who ordered Special Board for postmortem of Shazia Bashir and comments of Begum Attia Inayatullaha on floor of house “A Gang” for Ammant Masih indicate that rope shall be fixed in neck of one poor Christian and killer Mohammad Naeem will get clean chit as postmortem report says “No Rape” Meanwhile, additional district and session judge Shafiqur Rehman has granted the interim bail to Chaudhry Naeem’s wife and sister-in-law till February 3 and directed the police authorities to submit record. the killer Naeem’s son had already got the interim bail.
