Christian Teenage Girl raped by Muslim in Pakistan


Faisalabad: October 12, 2010. (By Shahid Anwar) Kiran Nayyaz, a 14 years old house maid poor Christian girl was forcibly raped several times by a Muslim youth that made her pregnant

This alleged heinous offence happened in Chak Jhumra, a village about 35 kilometers from Faisalabad, Punjab Province, in the month of April 2010. On 2nd October 2010, a case under section 376 of Pakistan Panel Code was registered against rapist, Muhammad Javed, with police station Sahianwala, District Faisalabad on the complaint of her father Nayyaz Masih but the rapist is still at large. According to National Commission for Justice and Peace, (NCJP) Faisalabad, a Muslim youngster named Muhammad Javed (20) sexually assaulted Kiran Nayyaz several times and threatened her that if she told anybody about that incident then he would not only shot her but also her family members. As a result of her fear and silence, Kiran Nayyaz is now five months pregnant according to medico-legal certificate (MLC). In the last week of September, father of the victim came to know that his child like daughter is pregnant. He at once filed an application for registration of a case against rapist. Kiran Nayyaz told to NCJP that dates back in April 2010, when she was on her way to a nearby shop, Muhammad Javed told me to come in his house because his sister had some work with her. When Kiran entered into the house nobody was there. Muhammad Javed grabbed her to a room, where he took off her clothes, placed a handkerchief on her mouth and quenched the lust. After this sinful act, he often threatened her and committed sexual intercourse with her. Nayyaz Masih, told to NCJP that father and relatives of the rapist pressurized him for compromise and threatened that if he did not stop for legal proceedings, they would murder him and his family members. Dr. Munazza Khursheed, a medico-legal officer at a government hospital in Faisalabad, revealed that Kiran had been raped on regular intervals and now she is five months pregnant. Fr. Nisar Barkat, Director NCJP-Faisalabad visited Kiran and her family members at her house and stated, “we are with you not to be worry and scared, we will provide you legal as well as paralegal assistance in this case”. NCJP Faisalabad is legally handling this case as well as taking medical care of the victim, Kiran Nayyaz.
