New York. August 13. Pakistani Christians under banner of PCA chanted slogans " terrorist attacks on Pakistani Christians not tolerable" and " Curb terrorism in Pakistan" in the demonstration against militant attacks on Taxila church hospital and Chr
Talking to the PCP, the chief of PCA and IF Mr. William Shahzad and Nisar Khan said that despite of Pakistani missions in New York to threaten the Pakistani Christians that names of demonstrators shall be forwarded to the government of Pakistan for action against their relatives in Pakistan and demonstration against President Mushraff shall be counted as protest against government of US when both are allies in war against terrorism to prevent the large gathering on this demonstration but still the daring Christians staged this protest. The Pakistani Christians orgnizations with double face to seek the VIP treatment by the Pakistani consulate struggled day and night to stop the demonstration.
As the announcement of demonstration was announced the spokes person of Pakistan Commission at UN New York issued statement, which appeared in Newsday New York that Christian use the blasphemy laws to seek Visas and asylums in US by the Rizwan Khan. The PCC chief Nazir Bhatti, condemn this statement and said that not a single victim of Shanti Nagar was issued visa when they staged 40 days hunger strikes in Islamabad. Mr. Bhatti said that Christians are so poor that they are unable to qualify the requirements of visa standard of western countries and 99% of Muslims are living abroad in west from Pakistan from the total immigrants numbers.
The PACC leaders Mr. Hameed gill, Anwar Siddique and others also participated in this demonstration before UNO New York and expressed their solidarity with PCA when both these Christian organizations have agreed upon to have better cooperation and understandings among them on Christian issues.
Pastor Aslam Daniel and Advocate Jaleel were among the speakers of this demonstration.
Meanwhile the Christians in UK are preparing to stage protest at London in next few days.
