The resolution demanded the repeal of blasphemy law and the immediate release of all Christian Pakistani prisoners jailed under such discriminatory laws. This event of the year 2002 brought over 400 Christian Pakistanis on one plat form. The conference was hosted by Christian League of Pakistan (Philadelphia). The event was attended by Robert Seiple, former U. S. ambassador at large, M. L. Shahani, an advocate and former judge of Pakistan Supreme Court, Joseph Frances (CLAAS, Pakistan), Fr. Thomas Betz (Arch Diocese of Philadelphia) and Joseph Grieboski, president Institute of Religion and Public Policy. The certificates of appreciations were issued to Mr. Many Alam: President (PACA), Mr. Victor Gill: President (CVOP) Mr. Earnest Gulab: President (PACC), Mr. M. L. Shahani : (Pakistan), Mr. Joseph Frances (CLAAS) Mr. Peter Bhatti: President (CLF Canada), Mr. Edgar Money: President (IPCA, UK), Mr. S. P. Mall: President (NACC), Mr. Robin Gill: President (VIRSA of NY) on the services rendered by these Christian leaders on issues of Christians in Pakistan in their respective fields. Christian League also gave three peace awards in the loving memory of late Dr. Bishop John Joseph to Mr. Robert A. Seiple, Mr. Joseph K. Grieboski and Fr. Thomas Betz. The delegates of different Christian organization and their members largely attended the 2nd international conference from Maryland, Virginia, Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York states.
